can't renew my subscription for 4.99$ cad?

not sure why but when i try to get the half off sale on 1 month gold, it says "something went wrong on our end" and try again. i have multiple times and my card is working. do i have to wait for gold to run out to purchase? not sure id appreciate any info.

Charged for 1 month, expired one day after.

So I had cancelled my xbox live and ea pass auto renew lets say on January 1st with both of them set to renew or expire if selected on January 20th. However on January 20th I was still charged 9.99 and 4.99 for both but now both subscriptions say they have
expired on January 21st and cannot use live or ea pass. I did not want to renew either but since I was still charged shouldn't I get the months worth from the date I was charged forward?

Both subscriptions had the option to renew not cancel for weeks but was still charged. Appreciate any Support in this matter.

Looking at your profile it says you are currently gold meaning either 1) you figured it out and got gold purchased or 2) your sub did not actually run out but renewed and then got suspended for lack of payment. If the latter is the case you have probably
been prompted recently to update your payment options. This might take a call to support to resolve. Either call them at 18004MYXBOX or setup a call back at
