    What happened to the 3 month renewal option for xbox live? My sub expired and i wanted just 3 more months for now (dont have any intention of getting an xbox one) but i dont see the option. Just 12 and 1 month

    Quick note for the other newbies like me. When its time to renew, turn off your auto-renew on your online profile. I did this because I thought I had to renew through microsoft rewards in order to get reward points (which, turns out, I was wrong about).

    BUT.... When I turned off the auto renew - the system automatically took me to a marketing page - and gave me an offer of 6 months for the price of 3. Sure enough, I bought a 3 month - and got another 3 month free.

    Cant argue 1/2 price! And would have been more than happy to pay the full price if I didnt know about it. Try it!

    cancelling auto renew did not work

    hi ive been a xbox live user for a while now but recently i had a 3 month subscription and i decided to cancel the auto renew process so i did this and it confirmed that auto renew was off. but then at the end of the three months ive received an email saying
    that xbox tried to collect payment from my card even tho i turned auto renew off and now on my account it says i have 3 months with auto renew on again? i cancelled my subscription as i knew i wouldnt have the money at the time to renew it which i didnt but
    now i dont want to be charged for something i didnt want in the first and actually confirmed was cancelled. also i wish to switch to a 1 month but i cant do this either until ive paid for the 3 months which do not want?

    It's because you already have a 3 month subscription. If your sub expired already, sign out of your profile and restart the console. If it automatically signs you in when you start up the console sign-out again and then sign back in. It may ask if you
    want to renew or if you would like to revert to free. You want to select revert to free if it asks. Then go to settings -> account management -> subscriptions -> Xbox LIVE Free -> modify membership -> Xbox Gold -> 3 month subscription -> confirm purchase.
    If this option is not available you may have a billing issue that you need to resolve with Xbox Customer support before you can reinstate your subscription. You can call at 1-800-4MY-XBOX if you are in the US or Canada OR you can visit
    support.xbox.com/.../contact-us if you are in another country.

    so the 3 month opt is gone from the console and the website this was a recent change if u still want the 3 month rate u can simply purchase the 1 month then a quick call to support 1-800-469-9269 and ask that they upgrade u to the 3 months....they don't
    have a problem doing it just remember that if u don't want it to auto pay tell them to turn off the auto pay cant renew for 3 months :)

    so i cant take my creditcard off till after my time is up? but since auto renew is one would it just keep renewing my live? If anything cant i just buy a 3-month card and wouldnt it just add to my time thus being able to take off my credit card?

    Cant cancel the Xbox Game Pass subscription

    To cancel Sub , The Subscription must be more than 3 months ( mean yOu cant cancel 1 month sub ) And You can Stop Auto Renew to avoid that thing happen again
