Can't Remove Member from Family (Xbox 360)

I created a Family Plan so that I can enjoy the benefits of paying for 4 xbox live accounts with the price of two. However, since that family plan is no longer existent, I tried to remove all the members in my family. I was able to remove two members from
my family but was unable to remove one of the members. I cannot even edit that member's settings. How can I remove this member from my family?

    :)

  2. Switching from Family Plan to regular Gold

Hello sir. You could keep all the membership yourself by removing profiles in the plan. This can be done by following this steps:

Console steps: Remove a member from a Gold Family Pack

On your console, sign in to Xbox LIVE with the primary account for the Gold Family Pack.

Go to Settings, and then select Family.

Select the member you want to remove from the Gold Family Pack.

Go to Account Management, and then select Remove From Gold Family Pack.

Follow the on-screen instructions to remove the member from the Gold Family Pack. When prompted, confirm the removal.

Computer steps: Remove a member from a Gold Family Pack

    Go to the Family Center.

Hover over a family member, and then click Remove from Family.

Xbox Live Family Member cannot be removed from Gold Pack

    Hi,

I'm trying to remove a family member from their Gold Family Subscription.

I receive this error message when attempting to remove the member on xbox.com: "The family member could not be removed from the Gold Family Pack at this time. Please try again later."

I receive this error message when attempting to remove the member on the console: "There was a problem retrieving your information from Xbox Live. Please try again later."

Is there anything else I can do to remove the account?

Does it give you any error messages? Are you the primary on the account?

Beastontheroad; Support agents can't always post on the forums. For issues like this, it's best to call Support. No need to sit and belittle a company because some issues go unsolved on forums. After all, we're only members and have no access to accounts.
So please don't find old posts to bump.

How to change my main gamertag to one of the four i have on my family pack

If you're apart of a family package you can have the main account or you yourself can remove yourself from the Family Account and you will lose your Gold status and it will be made into it's own account that you will need to pay for yourself. You would need
to have the Windows LIVE ID for the gamertag that you wish you remove from the family pack and login with that gamertag on your XBOX 360. If that tag is not on the XBOX 360 then you will need to recover the tag onto the XBOX 360. Instructions on how to have
the main account remove a secondary account from the family pack are located here > support.xbox.com/.../managing-family-members..

Is it possible to remove a child account from xbox family settings?

Hi! i went to that first link and tried to remove him to re-add him but it says the following :

You can't remove ***** from the family group

Family members under statutory age need an adult's consent to join a family group. Only the adult that granted consent for Dylan can remove this family member. Ask the family organiser who granted Dylan consent to remove Dylan from the family group.

the daft thing about that is im the person it my email i have to sign in i put him on it

How to remove member from family group (usual way not working)?

    Hello Tori_Bell!

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community.

I can see that you're having trouble removing a member from your family group. If the usual way of removing a member from a family group is not working, you can try the following steps:

    1. Sign in to your Microsoft account and go to the Microsoft Family website.

    2. Click on the "Manage family members" option.

    3. Select the family member you want to remove and click on "Remove from family".

    4. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the removal.

Please see: Remove yourself or a family member from your family group on Xbox | Xbox Support

If this still doesn't work, you can contact Microsoft support for further assistance. They will be able to help you resolve the issue.
