can't remember email associated to my gamertag

I can't remember the email I had associated with the Gamertag so I don't know how I would complete the account recovery form.

I'm trying to re-associate my old Microsoft account (with a Google address) with my current gamertag. I did learn that the old account was indeed associated with a free Silver gamertag for reasons I cannot remember. In order to make the switch to the old
account, I renamed the old account with a new email address, in hopes that I could somehow reclaim the old address. However when I tried to rename, I received the error: 'email isn't available'. What happened to it? Why can't I reclaim it???

Is there any way I can find my email even if it won't let me on Xbox live?

If you know the gamertag for an account but dont remember the email associated with it you can contact xbox support by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us give them the gamertag and if they can verify ownership of the account they can give you the email
associated with it.

If you do not remember what email address is associated with your original gamertag you can contact xbox support using this link
Here give them your gamertag and if they can verify that you own that account they would be able to tell you what the email address is that is associated with that gamertag.
