Can't register Xbox

My Xbox stopped producing a video output. When I go to the devices tied to my account it shows my xbox, but asks me to confirm the serial number to view the warranty status. I input the serial number and it says it accepted it, and then takes make me back
to the device page. When I select the xbox again, it just asks me to input the serial number again. I have repeated this process over several days. I have tried logging out and logging back in, I have tried using different browsers.

One time I was able to select the support option of requesting a call back from a support agent. The support agent who called was from the billing and subscriptions department, and transferred me to hardware department, however I only got a recording that
they were open between certain hours, and they were currently closed. (even though it was during the open hours).

I have tried the option of speaking with the Virtual Support Agent, and also with the Gamer Experts, but have not had any luck. I am not sure where to try next.
