    Can't Register my Xbox One on xbox.com


    I need to send away my console to get replaced, i need to register it first though. Everytime i try the page that comes up next reads

    Validation of viewstate MAC failed. If this application is hosted by a Web Farm or cluster, ensure that <machineKey> configuration specifies the same validationKey and validation algorithm. AutoGenerate cannot be used in a cluster.
    What is this?

    Problem registering a device..

    I am getting the EXACT same error when trying to register through xbox.com on my computer. The old xbox is still registered and showing up on the account, but when I attempt to register the new one; I get the aforementioned error.

    The website that you need to go to is myservice.xbox.com and sign into your account. If you are getting an error, it seems there might be a bug. Best idea at that point is to either create a new account with information you can access, and register your
    device, or call xbox customer support so they can set up the repair on their end.

    It's a shame we can't have POLLS on xbox.com/forums, it would be nice to see the results of a poll that only gold members could register a vote in on xbox.com/forums, this would be one of the first questions i would ask.

    If you register your Xbox One on xbox.com, you can see if it is still under warrenty.

    I don't think that's it. My old Xbox One was never registered there either.

    They both are now, but I don't see any way to configure download settings from xbox.com anyway.
