    Can't redownload Halo: Spartan ****


    I purchased Spartan **** back on 18/02/2014 (verified by checking the date on commerce.micrcosoft.com) but whenever I try to go and download it again, it wants to try and charge me $13.45 again for it. Considering I already bought this game twice now, both
    for Windows 8 and for Xbox 360, this is more than a little bit annoying.

    Any ideas that don't involve clearing the cache, restarting the console, formatting the hard drive etc as I already tried all of these. I formatted the hard drive to fix another problem I was having where downloads just sat on 0% for hours. Because of this,
    I now have to download all my games all over again but it just won't let me.

    Halo for Xmas Anyone ?

    Just seen the news on Pocket-lint that Halo Spartan Assault will be available for download on December 24th, delivered by Santa ?

    Sorry to hear it. Head over to your the download history on the account that originally purchased the game. From there you can redownload it without incurring charges.

    On the console go to Settings>Accounts>Download History.

    That's the first thing I tried but the only version in there was the trial version for some reason.

    Then magically, after about 24 hours, I tried again and it was there, so it's all good now.

    It still wants me to buy it if I go into the store though, instead of having the option to download again, which is just weird.

    That does happen after a while. That's why you should always attempt the download from your download history.

    Yeah that was the first place I looked. The only one in there was the trial version. The full version mysteriously showed up in there again a day or two after I originally posted in here.

    Also, if you've bought and downloaded a lot of items, scrolling through that list is extremely inefficient compared to just going to the store and choosing arcade games and then going to the H section.

    Halo Wars 2 not available to download on my PC even though it is already purchased on my Xbox

    It gets a bit complicated. If you have Gamepass then all should instal. The console will allow you to have Halo 5: Guardian, Halo Wars 2, Halo Wars De, Halo Spartan Assault and Halo MCC installed. The PC allows Halo CE, Halo, Halo Forge, Halo Wars 2,
    Halo Wars DE, Halo Wars Spartan Assault, Halo Wars Spartan Strike and Halo MCC to be installed.

    As for paying vs. free, the Microsoft Store should handle that. It might need resetting using a cmd prompt at admin level of wsreset. It takes a bit.

    I have had to uninstall and redownload MCC to get it to capture all, but it works!

    Let us know if you still have problems!

    I think your getting a little confused.

    In Halo Wars they had Spartan-2 with Mk 4 armor

    Master Chief is a Spartan-2 with Mk 5 armor in Halo CE

    Master Chief gets Mk 6 armor in Halo 2 (he has this in Halo 3 as well)

    The spartans in Halo: Reach were Spartan-3 (except Jorge who was a spartan-2)

    These spartans in Halo 4 multiplayer are Spartan-4, not sure what armor they are using, it will probably be customisable as in Reach.
