Cant Redeem Xbox Gold Live Prepaid Code

I cant redeem my Xbox Live Gold Prepaid Code. I tried it on both my Xbox One and PC. Xbox's shows me what i am redeeming which is good cause the code works but when I hit the 'Redeem' button it just says "Something went wrong. Please try again later'. Well
its been 4 hours and I'm about to lose my *** because I cant call because I dont have a landline and I live in Malaysia. The other problem is that I cant do a live chat because my First and Last name arent there for no *** reason and everything in my microsoft
account are all fill to the max with names, address and phone number. So this is the only place where I can find help. Please help me find a solution because I've been trying to find one for the pass 2 hours.

Need help redeeming my xbox live code

I tried redeeming the code in my browser on my computer using these instructions, big mistake. It said "thank you, you redeemed your code" and then exited me out. No gamertag registration whatsoever. I thought the whole point of redeeming my code was to create a gamer tag, but no just exits me out. I then tried redeeming my code on my xbox (so that I could create the gamer tag) and it said "sorry, code already redeemed."

so what the... what do I do now?

Thanks for making your post, just to clarify is the issue occuring with a Pre-Paid Microsoft Currency/ Xbox Live Gold gift card? Or a pre-paid Visa debit card?

The issue is most likely your region since it is not supported by Live.

i gave them a call, about 5 hours ago, they said they gonna solve the problem, and once its done, they gonna call back. but sadly till now, i still cant redeem

Hi Lucillex,

Xbox Live Gold can be purchased using a credit card or using a prepaid 25-digit redeemable code you can buy from many retailers.

If you don't have a credit card, it's best to go with the prepaid cards. Once you purchase one from a retailer, you can redeem the code in a number of ways. I'll provide an article that explains how to redeem an Xbox Live Gold prepaid subscription code:

Do you not know to redeem it or was the card damaged or already used?

To change your automatic renewal you can do so at xbox.com under the My Account option. Here is a link with detailed steps of what to do.

If you have a prepaid code, once you redeem it with either xbox.com or through your console, your membership will update with the new expiration date. Here is a link to steps for redeeming codes:

You are able to purchase Xbox Live Gold through several options

- You can purchase a subscription directly through your xbox with a credit card

- You can purchase pre-paid cards that come with codes you can enter through the Xbox guide menu.

To enter a code from a pre-paid card, press the Guide button on your controller, go left to Games and Apps, and scroll down and select Redeem Code, you can then enter your code and you should be golden!
