Can't redeem xbox game pass code

Hello , I received the xbox game pass key

But I can't redeem it ,it keeps getting me the error ( check the instructions that comes with your code .....etc)

Can u help me to redeem it

And what's the eligible countries to redeem it

I got a code from discord nitro for 2 months of xbox game pass ultimate but i can't redeem the code on Microsoft redeemtion site or in any xbox site it just keep telling me this error " Check the instruction that came with your code. you might need to redeem it on a different web page or device, or you may be ineligible to redeem this code." and i didn't ever subscribed to xbox game pass or tried it or had a gift code before i can't seem to know the issue here i hope anyone can help me before the code expired. Note: My region is Egypt.

No you can't purchase subs with credits from your account. You can buy a code for Game Pass but you need a payment method like credit card or PayPal - depending on the country you live in to redeem the code.

You can turn off recurring billing after you have redeemed the Game Pass code if you don't want that.

Since it's already been redeemed there's nothing that could be done. Codes will only redeem what they're made for. So even if it's an Xbox code, but you redeem it through the PC, you would still get Xbox content. So it would have been bought as a Game Pass for PC code instead of Game Pass for console.
