    Can't redeem trial code?


    I'm having trouble redeeming an xbox live trail code. After I enter it, it says it's valid but after I click submit it says "something went wrong" and won't activate. What's going on? Screenshots below...

    you have active gold, as long as you dont turn silver member you can not use trial gold.

    Exactly as above. Also, you may have used up the code now so it won't work if you need it in the future.

    But I don't have gold anymore (expired about a month ago) and my profile isn't allowed to play on Xbox Live. Is my account glitched or something?

    I've tried it and a couple other codes but they still do not work. I even tried it on another account and it does the same thing. They worked fine for a while though because I've used 3 other of these wrigley promo codes before. I guess I'll just have to
    buy gold because I still get the same "something went wrong" error.

    At the time of your original posting you were showing as having a Gold membership. If you had used the trial code at that time then it will not have worked and the code will have been used up and cannot be used again.

    Without a Gold membership you cannot access online multiplayer features. Also, a trial membership is limited and you would only have been able to experience a limited amount of online features as well.

    We determined that you got these trial codes through the Wrigley promotion, as you posted above. The
    Skittles FAQ states that they must be redeemed by 10/31/14. This means that any codes you tried to redeem after would no longer be valid.

    No you can't redeem the 1 month trial after purchasing GamePass. Also, if you redeem the trial code prior to purchasing GamePass and you purchase GamePass it will replace the trial and you will lose what days are left on the trial.

    Please bear in mind Xbox Gold trials does not stack to each other. If you redeemed a 14 day trial code then redeem a 2 day code it will remove the 14 day trial code. Have you redeemed other codes besides the 14 day trial?

    There seems to be no issue with redeeming codes as of the moment and the previous issue with FIFA 23 is with the trial issue wherein players can't play the game.

    Hi, sorry to hear you're having that issue- non-trial codes should indeed be able to be stacked for up to 36 months, and additionally, a 12-month code should not give any messages regarding trial status when you try to redeem it. It is true that you can't
    stack trial codes, nor can you redeem additional trial codes if you've already redeemed one in the past.

    You might double-check your
    Xbox order history
    to see if the redeemed code(s) show up as expected. You can also check your

    services & subscriptions
    page to check the current status of your subscription. Hope that helps!
