    Hi, I've owned minecraft windows edition for a while now and was about to redeem the java version but i can't. The button in microsoft store that's supposed to say "get", says "buy". I don't get why.

    Thanks for taking the time to share it. If you sign in to the Minecraft website, are you able to redeem Minecraft Java Edition there, does it show that you also own Java Edition or it asks you to buy Java Edition?

    The Minecraft Editions, like the Starter or Master editions. Is what i meant by packs. And when i bought the java edition of minecraft it let me redeem the window ten version.
