    i cant redeem my mojang gift code they give to everyone who created their accout before a certain date, everytime i try to redeem it it says "Contact who you got this code from. We can't redeem it."

    You can't because you gifted them and he redeemed them

    Redeemed codes aren't refundable.

    Only codes that aren't or can't be used

    This includes gift xards and no they aren't transferable

    The played rule only applies to games you bought and played

    But since its a gift the redeemed rule applies

    you can't send to yourself as a code, it would just redeem straight to your account, must be sent as a gift to the recipient who will redeem it.
