cant redeem gears of war collection codes

i received the gears of war codes for pre ordering gears 4 off xbox live and the codes are not redeemable. its not saying they have already been used, just that there's am error redeeming them.

I purchased gears of war 4 on October 14 and have still not gotten the codes to redeem the gears of war collection

 

Here are a couple solutions I can provide.

1. Check to ensure the code you entered is accurate to the code you recieved. In most cases, it tends to be a one letter difference. An easy mistake that many make, as I'm guilty of that myself.

2. If you are trying to redeem your code through your Xbox One Console, try redeeming the code through Xbox.com.

Let me know if any of these do not work for you, and we'll try working out another solution.

I have the same issues (like others in the official Gears 4 forum):

-Redeeming through console results in an error: unexpected error, try later

-Redeeming through Xbox.com: unexpected error, try later

Gears 1 + 3 fail, Gears Judgement worked.

I couldn't redeem the codes on Xbox consoles but it works through the Xbox website

 

@overchuck do you live in Germany China or japan if.so.that would.be why the games aren't available thrre

If you don't live in an xbox live region you cannot get the games as they are region locked

To get the games you must live.in an xbox live region and not.in the three above regions

It must match your actual region

There is no region you can select that isnt region locked

Yes I live in Germany and my region matches both on Xbox.com and my console.

Gears 1, 3 and Judgement are officially available here, even through Games with Gold. Only Gears 2 is still banned.

I had a chat with Xbox support and they gave me further instructions.

I'll post my results...

 

I managed to get more information:

Seems like more people have problems redeeming Gears 1 although it's unbanned and freely available since July 2016.

The problem is:

Gears 2 is banned and no one in Germany got a code for Gears 2. Everyone got a code for Gears 1 but people have problems redeeming it.

 

Same here. I would really like to download and play Gears 1. The game is officially out in Germany and our codes should work here. I tried to redeem the code in all possible ways. There´s nothing more I can do. So please Xbox support help us out here.

 

I just had a chat with the German support and they confirmed that other people have the same problem. They escalated it to the right people and they will get in contact with me later.

Gears 1 and 3 are banned in germany gears one got the ban however gears 3 was never submitted for a rating hence the ban

Only judgement and gears 2 isnt

 

Weird they removed the Germany lockout (under promotions I guess your right if you are using a UK or us account that would be why
