Can't redeem Gears of War 1/2/3/Judgement codes given for buying Gears 4

I've been trying to redeem the codes that were given for buying Gears 4, but everytime I get a "Sorry, but an unexpected error has occurred. The error has been recorded and we will investigate. Please try to redeem your code later."

I've tried doing this on PC, through the XBox App, Windows Store and the Xbox website, getting the same result in all of them.

I'm in Portugal, so I'm thinking I've been given codes for the wrong region.

Gears of war codes

when i bought gears of war 4 i was given 4 code for gears of war 1 2 3 and judgement but when i went to redeem them they said that they had already been redeemed.

 

Received Codes from Xbox Live for Gears of War 1, 2, 3, & Judgement, some don't work

Received a message from Xbox Live shortly after I redeemed Gears 4 UE with codes for BC versions of Gears 1-3 & Gears Judgement, the codes for Gears 2 & Judgement redeemed normally but the others give me an error when I try to redeem them.

Any chance I can get new codes for them?

 

its not possible the codes are universal

However your account region must reflect your actual region so if it's set to uk or us it won't work

You must use the region migration tool under my account ajd change my region on this website not the locale

Also under your xbox console

 

Keep in mind you have to be over 17 to redeem the codese
