    Can't redeem Game Pass


    I have been unsuccessfully trying to redeem a 3-month Xbox Game Pass. I have followed the instructions exactly as shown on the card but the response I get is either: "Check the instructions that came with your code. You might need to redeem it on a different
    web page" when trying on the Microsoft website or: "Something went wrong. Check the instructions that came with your code" when trying on my console. I have always bought my Game Passes from an online store here in South Africa where they just send me a digital
    code that I redeem directly on the Xbox every time the previous one expires, without any issues. This was the first time I bought an actual card with a code on it. I doubt if it can be the reason why I can't redeem it but thought I would mention it.

    I've seen previous discussions related to this problem but still can't get mine to work. I have also tried chatting with a virtual agent but then eventually has to pay money to get an answer to my problem which I find to be really unfair. Please help.

    That would be why you can't redeem it then...from the FAQs in the link I posted before:

    "If you were previously subscribed or currently subscribed to Xbox Game Pass for PC, or an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, you will not be able to redeem the two month trial for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate!"
