Can't redeem code

For the past several hours I have been trying to redeem a 12 month live card. Earlier i could not due to the payments server being down or something. Now it says the server is up and payments should work again but mine still won't go through. I tried to
redeem it from xbox.com as well, and i got this error:

XBOS-3013 4d286e3f-1ba3-4b30-af2d-737547d0a6b6

It says to search it on the support website for help, and guess what I can't find? Any information regarding this code. So, I would like to know what type of **** on earth I should prepare for.

Need help redeeming my xbox live code

I tried redeeming the code in my browser on my computer using these instructions, big mistake. It said "thank you, you redeemed your code" and then exited me out. No gamertag registration whatsoever. I thought the whole point of redeeming my code was to create a gamer tag, but no just exits me out. I then tried redeeming my code on my xbox (so that I could create the gamer tag) and it said "sorry, code already redeemed."

so what the... what do I do now?

does anyone else have a code they are not using.

the codes i had yesterday would not work. i assume you simply redeem them on the marketplace "redeem code" section

Remeeming errors are usually caused by issues on the account itself. Be sure to check your billing information at
http://billing.microsoft.com and
http://account.microsoft.com/services for any outstanding amount issues. After that try redeeming the code on both xbox console and via xbox.com/redeemcode

Also check that account , console and code region match, using different regions van cause issues too.

I went to the links and it says my card needs to be updated or something. I had a change of address, so i fixed that, but when it asks me to make a payment I can't use my card. It says i need to use another card or something. But I don't have any other cards.
