    Cant redeem a prepaid points card


    I bought 2 cards on Sunday.... been trying since then to redeem and turn them to cash on the live system. i keep coming back with this error at the bottom of the screen and it telling me to try back later. for 5 days???

    I have the same problem and same code . I have tried it many times during the day but it isn't working. I have tried it both ways on my xbox360(pushing the x buton and go to left, and in the menu) and on my computer.

    Can you use a visa gift card to buy xbox live

    If LIVE does not generaly accept prepaid cards as payment, it seems to me that you could use that same prepaid card to purchase a MS point card or Gold subscription card from a local or online retailer and just redeem the code in your LIVE account.
