Can't redeem $5 microsoft/bing rewards credit

    Can't redeem $5 microsoft/bing rewards credit


    I was referred over here by xbox support to hopefully find someone who can help me out. I recently redeemed my points on microsoft rewards on a $5 code. I got an email that says "congrats your $5 code is here" and when I click redeem it brings me to rewards.microsoft.com
    and that's it. It doesn't credit my account any money and there's no manual 25 digit code to redeem anywhere on the email. I have tried new browsers, new computers, and clearing cache/cookies and can assure that the link sent in the email is a dud. If I could
    get a manual code sent or a link that works properly that would be great. Thanks.

    Missing 2000 Bing Rewards Points

    Hi there LegoBowler!

    I think you might be confusing Bing credits with Xbox Live points. When you use Bing rewards, you are awarded Bing credits which can all be used here:
    www.bing.com/.../all. Since Microsoft Points have been phased out, the term for Xbox Live currency is "Microsoft Currency". Note that you can use your Bing credits to redeem MS
    Currency gift cards which can be used on Xbox Live.

    a better option is to sign up with bing rewards... do a few searches, get a few credits, earn enough credits, redeem for microsoft points, or cards...done.

    You will need to contact the Microsoft Reward Program through the redemption page at the very bottom of the page here: https://account.microsoft.com/rewards

    The two programs are independent of each other and they are unable to provide customer support for the others program.

    Your account points, are they Xbox Rewards credits (rewards.xbox.com), or are the Microsoft Rewards (formerly called Bing Rewards) points?

    For Xbox Rewards credits have you requested a deposit already on rewards.xbox.com? Keep in mind deposits are done by the 15th and 30th of the month. If you requested a deposit, did it give you a specific date?

    If they are Microsoft Reward points (Bing rewards) Microsoft.com/rewards, you have to redeem them for one of the options though that site.

    They are two separate programs with two different redemption options. Microsoft Rewards won't show on Xbox Rewards same as Xbox Rewards credits won't show in your Microsoft Rewards page.
