Can't recover xbox account with landline phone #

I have a very old account I made during the original Xbox, and I transferred it over to the xbox 360 years ago. I then traded that xbox 360 away for the Xbox one deal. I tried to recover the account back and it seems the email I originally thought was associated
with the account is wrong since never had to use a email to sign into the xbox 360 before. I have all the other information pertaining to the account such as the billing address, when it was made, when it was last played.., etc. But the only way to recover
the account is to receive a short code message/ verification code to the phone. But the issue is that the phone associated with the account was my homeline phone. Since I made the account before I had a cell phone.

Is there any other way to receive the verification code, I tried to ask them to call the landline phone associated instead and tell me the code. But I was told even they don't know the code. Is there anyway for a landline to receive a short code message?

Too answer your last question, the short answer is no unfortunately. LAN lines generally do not have the capability to receive any for of text messages. Now just to clarify, you do not know the MSA (Microsoft account) at all? Do you maybe know any contact
emails on the account?

 

Well there are actually a few options to make a landline capable of receiving text messages, such as Zipwhip, but I was told it's not possible to receive short code messages. That is what the support team uses for verification codes. I can make the phone
receive text from any mobile carriers.

I don't understand what do you mean the microsoft account, do you just mean the email? Thats the thing I don't remember. Since I haven't used a email to log into or recovered the account in many many years. I probably would know the password for the email
though since I use the same password for all emails.

 

Is there any contact emails you have associated with the account that you know? You can contact the support line (1-800-4MyXbox) and they maybe be able to tell you the MSA if they can verify ownership. Have you talked to them yet?

 

I have already spoken with all forms of support calls and text support chat, exhausted all options. I obviously do not know any associated emails, cause thats the first thing anyone ever suggests.

The only option I have left is to somehow be able to get a short code message for a landline. The only option I found out is that landline texting can only receive SMS but not short code message verifications.
