    Can't recover Xbox 360 Profile


    At my friends house, I'm trying to recover my profile to his xbox. we put all the right info (I have 2 accounts on this email and it asks what account I want to download and i chose this account ) when we select it, it just gives us this error code
    this has happening for two weeks. why can't we recover my account?!

    So why don't you simply use your friend's account for the time being...? Now that you know the recovery system can be faulty and it is recommended that you do not use it on a frequent basis, it may be a good idea to put your profile on
    a memory stick to transport to a friends' house. Can't recover Xbox 360 Profile :)

    Hello there Intro1017 There are two ways you can use your profile on multiple consoles: I`m going to ask that you should try Move your profile to another console using a portable storage device (flash
    drive or memory unit).     So make sure to

    1. Download your profile from Xbox Live (recommended)
    2. Then Move your profile to a portable storage device (flash drive or memory unit)

    Hey there

    Welcome to the forums

    When you try downloading your Xbox Live Profile. What is the error code the Xbox is Presenting you with?

    Also, I would recommend heading over to
    https://account.live.com     and making sure your Security Proofs are in order. I would recommend having an alternative email address and a phone number in which the system may send you verification codes, if and when you need them.

    still the same problem is persisting and nothing has changed! I want play my games and yet again microsoft has to give everyone problems. we are already paying for xbox live, so why must one thing ruin it for us all that seriously want to play at friends'
    house and all that. it makes no sense. just get it fixed

    Hmmm.... ok try this.

    1) Go to system settings then go to memory & Go under profiles. Do you see corrupted profile by chance?
