can't recover old xbox 360 account

I am trying to play call of duty on my old xbox 360 account on my xbox one. I don't remember my password. I don't want to lose all my stuff.

Live Account over 360 and Xbox One

At the moment if you go to a mates house you can recover your gamertag on their 360, then when you get home you need to recover your gamertag back to your console (unless you use a USB Stick).

I am wondering how it will work with the xboxone? As I dont want to keep recovering my Gamertag everytime I move from my 360 to the xbox one and back again. Will it let you have your account on both machines at the sametime?

Help me please. I am 22 years old. Back when I was 15 my father used his email and such to create and link my old Xbox 360 gamertag. I have all the old info that I need. I'm still getting charged for this Xbox Live subscription but I can't find the Microsoft
Account linked to that Xbox Live Gamertag! I would like to recover it if possible.

There's something called changing your password

You can always change your password if you forget. You just cannot forget your email you register that account with.

If you forget your password you can always reset it!

Follow these steps to create a new one:

Go to the Reset your password page.

Choose the reason you need your password reset, then click Next.

Enter the email address, phone number or Skype ID you used when you made your Microsoft account. This could be any email address, or an email ending in a Microsoft domain like hotmail.com or outlook.com.

Enter the characters you see on the screen (this lets us know you're not a robot), then click Next.

If you have security info on your account, we'll send a one-time code to the alternate phone number or email address you gave us. After you enter that code on the next screen, you'll be able to make a new password.
