Can't recover game save

Hi and thank you for the detailed reply.

I can confirm that I have been playing at least 4 other games in cojunction with this one and all of my saves for the others are there. This to me means that I don't have network problems.

Unless this game requires something specific.

If you think all of your suggestions will fix this issue I can try them.

I have tried so far:

• Power cycling the console
  
• Reinstalling the game
  

But it still doesn't pick up my save.

See below that I definitely have one for this game:

I have just tried two more things:

• Removing my account from the console and adding it again
  
• Deleting all saved game data for that game and then resyncing it from the cloud (this process seems automatic as a message "resyncing hellblade data" appears when first starting the game after the deletion)
  

None of these helped and my progress seems to be lost unfortunately.

...how will I ever trust this game!

I tried Settings->General->Network Settings->Test Network Connections and it says "It's all good"

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Xbox Forum support. I want you not to worry about the situation because I am here to help you out! While playing you need to make sure you need to make sure you are well connected to live services because otherwise the progress will not be saved to the cloud. I would like you to go through the following steps to make sure you aren't facing any network issues to avoid such problems in the future:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

After going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 2 to 3 minutes, re-plug them back again, then restart your console.

Another thing you should check is your NAT type. I would like you to check your NAT type if open because that could sometimes interfere. to check for the NAT type you can follow the steps below:

Settings > Network Settings > NAT type => It should be open.

If the NAT type is not open, you will need to open some ports with your internet provider. These ports must be open for Xbox Live to work: Port 88 (UDP) Port 3074 (UDP and TCP) Port 53 (UDP and TCP) Port 80 (TCP) Port 500 (UDP) Port 3544 (UDP) Port 4500 (UDP).

In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox :

Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

As Black Dragon 00 said, there is no way to recover deleted save data from your Xbox or Xbox LIVE currently. All save data for games, including Minecraft, is stored locally (unless you store it to Cloud which is on an Xbox LIVE server) and deleted save data
cannot be recovered. Once saves are deleted, you can't redownload them.

Saves can't be redownloaded from Download History/Purchase History because saves are created locally by the game. Sorry bud.

That could happen if you don't close the game correctly or a connection error during the end of your gaming session, this progress can't be recovered as save files are override for new saves
