    Can't Recover Account


    I have a different account that I made for use on pc with Xbox Game Pass. At the time i made it I had a different phone number. My password was changed recently, I was emailed about it, and I went to reset my password via the link in email. It asks to send a notification to my old phone number to verify my account. Obviously I can't do that, so I used the stupid account recovery form and their trying to tell me I don't have enough info to verify my account. I have receipts of my purchases, i have the email sent to me when i created the account, i have the correct info for the card used, cause i have a receipt proving it. I put the info for previous passwords i have used. What more info do they want... i don't have an xbox, i never had one, and never will. I know my name cause i recorded videos of playing games with this account on pc.

    This has been annoying me. I am getting charged for subscriptions, i can't log into my own account, and even if i cancel my card and get a new one, i still lose my account and everything attached to it which is BS.

    The fact i can put my card info in correctly should be all that is required to verify my ownership.

    Why does account recovery have to be such trash.

    Well, the problem is that you gotta delete the profile from your Cousin's Xbox 360 in order to recover your profile from your Xbox 360.

    It has happened to me before until I figured out the problem.

    Can't Recover Account.

    Actually, I just contacted their sister(who had to stay back), and she deleted the profile for me. I tried recovering, and it didn't work. But THEN, I deleted the profile from MY HDD, tried recovering, and it worked! Thank you for giving me an idea of the
    solution.
