Cant record or access my DVR when using Xbox One Guide.

i recently connected my DVR (Humax FreeSat box) to my xbox one x using the one guide app. i set it up using the set up steps and it works fine i can controller all the channels but i cant access my already recorded programs or set another program to record.
surely there is a way for this to be done?

I don't expect xbox to be used as a dvr but have full access to directv dvr menus ... it might be better if xbox would allow a choice using one guide or allowing use of directv guide and tools

When will all the DVR and Menu functions be fully implemented. The one guide works but no way to record or view list of recorded shows or access directv menus i still have to use the directv remote to use those functions

In short, yeah, we cannot confirm whether or not this is an issue with compatibility between your set top box and the console or your set top box itself.

The One guide basically is just supposed to allow you access to the features of your device. If you had this work for you before at one point, then I would suggest doing a

reset of your console after unplugging the set top box and then setting it again.

If not, then I would try to contact Humax at their site
https://uk.humaxdigital.com/support/ and see if they can help you with any issues or answer whether or not their device has any problems recording DVR when connected to an Xbox One X

I don't think it is possible. I have had my settop box set up to my xbox one since launch day and have never been able to access the menu features of the STB. I need to use the original controller to acces those
