    Cant record from now on xbox one x anymore


    What happened? It wont let me record from now anymore and it wont let me choose my external hard drive as a capture location to enable that because its formated to xbox which worked before on the internal hard drive. Do i have to get another hard drive
    formatted to ntfs??? Just to use a feature thats been available on the internal hard drive for years? What the heck? Am i missing something? Please help.

    Unfortunately you can't use an external drive for both games and captures. You either need to add another hard drive formatted to ntfs or reformat your existing drive but that will mean you can't store games on it (so move any games before doing this).

    On the normal hardrive is there space for captures becuase capture take quit a bit up and i have to regurly delete captures i thought were good lol

    Xbox game clips fast/jittery and just unwatchable.

    Ok so i was able to try both of the above recommendations and turned on COD again and recorded a clip, still having the same issue as before....i also tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that did not work either....its crazy how my regular OG xbox
    never had a problem like this and then when i upgrade to the xbox one x i cant record video clips on COD anymore. Any other ideas? Thanks in advance.
