Can't recieve invites or notifications

    Can't recieve invites or notifications


    For some reason I am unable to receive game invites from other players.

    My NAT is Open, my notification settings are set to recieve them.

    I've tried resetting my Xbox also.

    What could be the problem?

    Can't recieve any game invites or notifications!!

    I have been trying to troubleshoot this problem for a few months, while playing online multiplayer games such as Destiny has been nothing but fustration. I cannot recieve any game invites nor party invites!

    I have cleared my persistent storage, cleared MAC address, reset my xbox one, reset my router, cleared my profile from my console, and yes i have hard reset my xbox so many times my dog probably learned how to do it.

    Please help I always gotten Gold membership on x box live, but without being a able to use it to the full extent, its pointless.

    Hey there Cronesss,

    Sorry to hear about the issue with not being able to see any notifications. Let's have you try these steps.

    1. Turn off all notifications on the Xbox One console.

    2. Remove your profile from the console.

    3. Power Cycle the Xbox One console.

    4. Re-add your profile and test to see if the notifications are popping up again.

    No Achievement or Message Notifications

    Ok, this is simply being ignored. It is NOT to do with turning on or off the notifications. My notifications are ON and yet I do not recieve them from certain people. Game invites, messages, the lot... I leave the game and go to dashboard, and suddnely the
    messages appear.... But when in game, neither messages or game invites appear.....

    Sort it out!

    that app has some issues :S, but you can try to reinstall it, maybe you should be able to recieved notifications for parties, or have you tried to create the party you then invite verybody?

    XBOX Console Companion Party Invites

    This solution doesn't work. I am having the same issues. Before this new windows update I was able to receive party notifications through the companion app. Now I cannot recieve them through the companion app or the game bar. I guess it should be noted
    that you CAN invite people to a party from the companion app and they can join. But for whatever idiotic reason you cant recieve the invite.
