Can't receive title update for Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes

Hello.

I've been having an issue with the digital version of the game MGSV: GZ. When I started the game for the first time, I never received the update prompt that usually shows up when you start a game. I know for a fact that the game has an update in which you
are able to play an extra mission.

I've spoken with Xbox customer support over the phone and I've performed numerous troubleshooting steps. I've checked my connection to Xbox Live, which was completely fine. I've deleted the system cache on all storage devices and deleted certain files within
them relating to the marketplace rights. I also deleted the game and reinstalled it. I've checked to make sure the ports on my router were forwarded correctly for Xbox Live as well. Nothing seems to be working here. I'm almost convinced that it is an issue
with Microsoft servers in which they are unable to distribute the update. While reading online, I've seen that people have received this update after its release date of May 1st. Recently though, another person who downloaded the game digitally had the same
issue as me.

What can I do at this point to receive this title update?

Haven't played Metal Gear since Playstation one. Might have to get it for xbox one.

Usually games that are downloaded digitally, already have the title update installed. But just to make sure, you can check by going to your xbox 360's storage device and find the game. If the title update is over 5MB and is listed with your game, then
that will be why the title update did not download when you first started the game. If however the title update is less than 5MB, then it will be stored in the system cache. Try emptying the cache, so your game could re-download the update again.

 

The update isn't listed next to the game. I also already emptied the cache. None of this worked. The game is supposed to display the version on the bottom right of the title screen. If the title update were installed, it would read "1.0.2." I don't see that
at the bottom anywhere, leading me to believe that I don't have the update.
