Can't receive game/party invites

ok I was on the phone for over an hour with you guys and nothing was done to fix this. Like the subject reads, I can't get party or game invites. I mostly play Destiny so when I message people for them to invite me, they do. I message them back and asked
if they sent the inv and they say yes, I'm spamming it. I get nothing!!!

Can't receive party or game invites.

I noticed about two days ago I haven't been able to receive party or game invites from anyone (friends or random players). I am not sure if this started before two days ago as I was primarily playing solo games. It seems I can send and receive text based
messages on live and I can manually join a friends party or game.

I double checked my Xbox network settings and it is set to OPEN with 100mb downloads and I have all the ports opened suggested on this site: Xbox One Network Ports | Xbox Live Network Ports

I am not sure if this is because of the new preview update or what. I did chat with support to confirm there was no blocks on my account and they said everything was clear on their side and my network settings are proper. (Mark M. Reference number 1362919724)

I can join parties and receive party invites just fine. The problem is the game invites. For example, I was trying to play Call of Duty: Warzone through a Looking For Group post. I join the party but then don't receive the game invite and can't invite
them to my game.

Same here - playing EA NHL Legacy on Xbox 360 - can't send game invites. Can't send any messages on Xbox 360. Can join another person's party by going to their profile and clicking join party, but can't send or receive a party invite. Even if they are in a joinable game though, the "Join Game" option does not appear on their profile, so without game invites there's no way for us to play a game together. This is awful - any fix soon?

Sounds like changing your Gamertag...rekt you. Okay, not really. I'm just teasing.

There was actually a known issue with sending and receiving game/party invites yesterday that has since been resolved. Are you still experiencing issues or are you finally able to link up with your friends? Let us know!
