    Can't read the game disc


    Xbox 360, I haven't play for a long time(about 3 or 4 years). I started and updated the system to version 2.0.17511.0, but the device can't read the game discs(e.g. Street Fighter IV,Modern Warfare 2). And it will display "Play DVD" on the main page. I have
    try play music CDs, it is OK! Thanks!

    single player disc wont read please help

    mine can't read the mutilplayer disc but can read the single player and also my other games.tried 10 games all work but my mutilplayer disc.......

    Maybe, its your Disc Tray...Maybe it can't read game discs anymore!

    Disc Drive Troubleshooter    . Make sure to give all the steps a try, Unfortunately, if those steps don't help a repair or replacement is going to be your best option with your Xbox 360.

    Hi,

    To be able to see if the game is BC and download the game, your console most be able to read the disc.

    Check if your console can read other 360 discs ok. if it can, try cleaning the disc. If that does not work get the disc replaced.

    If your console can't read other 360 games, or DVD disc movies, then the fault is with the console.

    I'm afraid that will not work, since the license for that game needs to be read from the disc. Since the Series S doesn't have a disc drive it can't be read.
