    Hi,

    I've got a problem with my 360 that I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered. I've downloaded some games recently from Games with Gold to my hard drive. The games start up, except for Quantum Conundrum, and I can play for a time. Then the "can't
    read disc error" comes up and game crashes. I've tried to move the content to a USB to see if same thing happens. It starts copying file then give a "can't perform action" error. Games played from disc in the optical drive work fine, same with saved games.
    I cleared cache and saw some small improvement in one downloaded game before it crashed again. Any ideas?

    Forza Horizon disk read error for a games on demand version.

    The reason it is giving you a disc read error is just that, it can't read the game files off of your HDD. Just to confirm, did you try downloading it to a different storage device, such as a USB?

    What you've tried: I have tried many updates copied to usb but not working.

    Have you tried fully uninstalling that content,
    clearing the console cache     and reinstalling?

    Do you or did you own a disc copy of the game/games at one time?

    I would suggest if your console can't read the disc to put said content on to a USB Flash drive. The Xbox One can read this.

    When you say that the hard drive will not read on the console, does this mean that it only reads as a usb device with a max of 32 gb when plugged in using a usb cable?

    If so then either the transfer cable, hard drive or both were not official xbox items as that is what happens when 3rd party items are used to transfer content. This error is not covered by an xbox warranty.

    Where did you purchase the transfer cable and hard drive?

    My usb stick 3.0 isn't recognize anymore as 3.0 on my xbox one X

    impossible to read any other usb stick, I can't change the letter because it will came back to his original letter, it is the D: letter i put it at A: letter I unplug plug it and it came back to D:

    I don't understand, my old usb stick can't be read but the cd drive part in, is usable and my external HDD too, it's just the usb stick that can't be read I'll try a third one to see if all usb stick are impossible to read

    I really don't know what to do, my first usb stick 3.0 came back again at fat32 I've done absolutely nothing with this one, I tried 4 usb and 2 are usable and 2 are not usable there's no logic, and on the old one I can use the disc drive but not the basic partition only the disc partition.
