can't reactivate realm

i've had a realms subscription for a while now, and i just noticed my card expired so i had to try and renew my subscription but it redirects me to the american site where after adding my card and changing the country it still just says "something went wrong"

I am unable to complete the purchase

I understand that you're having trouble renewing your subscription. For us to isolate the issue further, try to update your Microsoft account billing information/address by signing your account on account.microsoft.com > Payment and Billing > address book.

NOTE: Make sure that the billing information from your card and your Microsoft account are exactly matched.

Then try to renew the subscription.

If it still doesn't work, renew the subscription using different browsers and devices such as a mobile phone, Windows PC, or laptop.

If the above steps didn't work, you may need to reach out to your bank and update your payment card since you have mentioned that your payment card is already expired.

As for an alternative option, you can use a different payment method by signing your account on account.microsoft.com > Payment and billing > payment option.

Or you can also purchase an Xbox gift card and redeem the codes on your account.microsoft.com then use the Microsoft credits to renew the subscription.

Realms in Minecraft is not a Microsoft affiliated subscription, but rather a subscription associated with your Mojang account. From the

Realms FAQ on Mojang's website; "You can cancel or reactivate your recurring payment for Minecraft Realms at any time from your
account overview. Find the Realm you're looking for listed under My Subscriptions. From here you can cancel or reactivate your Realm."

"If you have any trouble with this process, please contact customer support and provide them with the transaction ID associated with your
most recent Realms purchase."

You will to contact Mojang Support if you need more assitance with this matter.

I deleted it with more than 60 days, so I imagine that it can't be reactivated

I've been dealing with this issue for well over a year now. It seems every two or three months the Realms Plus subscription ends up expired again.

The first couple times this happened I ended up double-paying to get it restarted again.

Ever since then, I end up having to open a ticket.
The best I get from Mojang support is that they'll reactivate the Realm, but this doesn't solve the problem.
I've cancelled and restarted the subscription but this also did not fix the problem.

It only seems like they're concerned with closing out the ticket. There seems to be no investigation, no acknowledgement that anything is wrong. Just, reactivate and close the ticket.

This last time there was no warning. I played one day, then went to play again the next day and the realm was expired, unavailable. There was no way to even download the realm.

I've double-paid for two months, lost probably another month and a half's worth of play, and there seems to be no progress made on fixing the issue.

At this point I've given up and canceled the subscription for good. I bought two copies of Minecraft with the expectation of using them with the Realms subscription, but had I known how broken it was I never would have bought them.

I'll see if I can get a refund for the two copies of the game, but considering that Mojang refuses to provide any sort of refund for the times I was unable to use my paid Realms subscription, I doubt I'll get anywhere on the game refund.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. When you login your Microsoft account in here is your Realm listed as Active? https://account.microsoft.com/services

If it's active in your Microsoft subscriptions but in-game it says the Realm is expired, please try to check if there is a new Realm in your Realms list.

Go to Minecraft Settings > Subscriptions > Check in here if there is a new active Realm.

If you can only see the expired Realm in there, please contact Minecraft support so they can help you with reactivating your server. https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/request/new...
