Can't put in a new gamertag after creating my account

Hi,

there seems to be an issue with the gamertag system atm. It was already escalated to the MS team.

So you'll need some patience until it's fixed.

I can't create a new account using the email I used for my original gamertag.

I know that. I spoke with support for multiple channels and their response has always been the same . You can not change the age . For this reason I created a new account.



The problem is to pay to change the gamertag . When Windows created the account without asking age, I did not know that was childish . For this reason I paid 9.50€ in my old account to change gamertag and then I named this account. Now, I had to create a
new account because i can't use it.



Account was created bad for Windows 8 error , not mine. I did not put the wrong age, Windows did not ask. I request xbox support to leave me one free gamertag change in the child's account (GLooMan16) so I can change the name and put it on the new account
I created.



I did not ask for a gift. But it seems wrong to pay again when it has been a Microsoft error and not mine that was created as a child account.

Gamertags generally can't be deleted. If you want the WLID that was on an old account, you'd have to recover that account, change the WLID to some dummy WLID, then your WLID would be free to put on your current account. Or, just create a new WLID for the
current account.

ah...guess this is it.

But they mentioned about creating new account with proper birthdate.

After creating account(without gamertag) and i'm planning transfer my tag to that account.

Will it work or will it still recognize me as child?

Gamertag doesn't save information about birthdate right?
