    Can’t purchase Xbox 360 games on Xbox One?


    Hello everyone. Everytime i go to try and download the free 360 game with gold, i ALWAYS get an error. Even when i try to purchase 360 games from the store, an error always comes up for “not having a payment option”. However, i do have a payment option
    and thats how i purchase my One games. Is it something with my profile? PLEASE HELP!

    It’s still finicky on working and not working but ya it’s because I purchased it on the Xbox one marketplace. Which I find a bit stupid because I bought an Xbox 360 game on an Xbox one yet I still can’t play it on the 360 but what can you do

    Free Trials will not let you purchase the 360 Games with Gold. You will only be able to get the Xbox One games.

    This is clarified on the support page.

    For Xbox 360 console customers only:

    • You can’t redeem backward-compatible Games with Gold with this type of Xbox Live Gold trial.

    All 360 online services are down. Back compatible games on Xbox one can’t save.

    I can’t connect to Xbox live on 360 back compatible games. The rest of the Xbox one behaves normally. I know it’s not a problem with my console because both my old 360 and the 360 emulator on the Xbox one do it.

    I thought maybe the problem was on my end so I did a soft reset. Now the 360 emulator on the Xbox one has no profile on it. I can’t download my profile to it because it can’t connect to Xbox live. So I can’t save at all in back compatible games.

    Is it a regional problem? Is it down for maintenance? The status page doesn’t mention anything.
