    No matter what I try. I have a payment method active, and I have enough money left from my prepaid gift card. What gives? All it says every time is: "Sorry. Your account is unable to make that transaction on xbox.com. Please try again on your Xbox." That's

    No, Xbox 360 disc games can't be run on anything but an Xbox 360 console.

    (Even for downloaded games, there are only a few that are also available on Windows 8 or Windows Phone, but those are separate purchases from the Xbox 360 or Xbox One versions.)

    By any chance are you trying to use the credit on your Microsoft account? If so, I would like to let you know that you can't use the money in your Microsoft account to purchase content from the Xbox 360 Marketplace.

    To resolve this issue, purchase the item on your Xbox 360 console, where you can use your Microsoft account balance to make purchases.
    I don't own an Xbox 360. Does this mean I can't purchase the game at all?
