Can't purchase Xbox 360 backcompat games

so people have told me if it says I can't buy red dead redemption from the Xbox one, to try it from xbox.com. But that doesn't work, the only solution I have had people tell me is to buy it from a 360, but I don't have a 360. Is there any way for a support
person to buy the game on my account for me and just take away the funds or something because it's getting really annoying not being able to play red dead redemption when I should be able to get it but can't

Regrettably, you will have to purchase another copy of the game. Fortunately, Xbox 360 games should be lower in price nowadays - have a look at some second hand shops or consider purchasing a digital copy. Games continue to be brought to Xbox One via #BackCompat,
if you ever choose to upgrade.

First: what consoles are you talking about? Xbox 360? Xbox One?

For the Xbox One, all digital purchases on your account are automatically shown in the "Ready to Install" list in "My Games & Apps". However, Xbox 360 games are only available if they are currently on the backward
compatibility list.

 

There's usually 1 of 2 reasons why you can't make a 360 purchase from the One/website. Either you're on a child account or you need either a credit card or Paypal on file in order to make the purchase. The 360 store is set up differently from the store on
the One/website.

If you're on a child account, there would be no other way to make the purchase than to make it from the 360. Support can't make purchases for you.
