Discus and support can't purchase with my current Paypal account in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I purchased GTAV last month, but today I can't buy games no matter how hard I tried.     can't purchase with my current Paypal account


    I purchased GTAV last month, but today I can't buy games no matter how hard I tried.

    I live in China and my account region is Hong Kong. Is this an accidental error or something wrong with my account.

    Delete Purchasing information

    Hello,

    I take One month Xbox live with my paypal account.

    And now , i can't delete my paypal informations account ! The Xbox ask me all the day to take a new month and to purchase a new card.

    Since when microsoft starts stealing his customers ?

    I just want delete my Paypal Account EACH month and choose myself if I want to renew my purchase or not !

    I have the same problem i was able to purchase Gears of War 2 with pay pal several days ago but now i can't purchase anything with my paypal account.

    xbox Support should be able to tell you more on billing issues.

    any way, is there any error code shown when to try to make a purchase?

    do you try on your console or on xbox.com?

    on which step is it not working correctly?

    thanks for your reply.

    Is this not xbox Support? I came here through xbox support, and as I own an x360 so I got there.

    My console language is not english, when I confirmed purchase it told me that "can't authorize the selected payment option. Please select another or add a new payment option". I try my best to translate the shown messages, and there is no error code.

    this is the Forums, we are mostly Gamers here can't purchase with my current Paypal account :)

    though there are officials here too, they carry a Special mark on the gamerinfo next to the posts

    I'm sorry to hear about the purchasing issues.

    I see you stated that you currently live in China but your account region is set to Hong Kong. China, as a whole, is not an Xbox Live supported region. Having your account location set to a region different than your physical location can cause issues like
    the one you're currently experiencing.

    We always recommend matching your account's location to your physical location to prevent errors such as this.

    I bought some games correctly before, but recently I can't. Maybe it is because that Xbox one is going to China and MS restrict Chinese IP to protect Chinese x1 selling.

    what a pitty. I don't want to buy x1, especially chinese x1(can't play other region's games). I cancelled xbox live gold member, there is no point of being gold member now that can't buy games.

    Cannot use Paypal bank account to purchase

    I actually tried adding my Paypal Mastercard to force the purchase of one game, but then MS gave the same error message (80167611) on the 2nd game I tried to purchase. I bought the 2nd game by adding a Visa linked to my actual bank account. So far I've used
    my Paypal bank account, Paypal Mastercard, and a different banks' Visa to purchase. Ridiculous. If I can't use the Visa the next time I wanna purchase, I am going to flip a major flip!

    My account was stolen and Xbox has done nothing about it for 4 months.

    I just today had 6000 points (£51) purchased on my account, payment went though my PayPal account - I have spent the past hour trying to find a support email address but found nothing relevant so I will have to call support tomorrow when they open. I tried
    then to disable the PayPal payment method on my Live account but it wouldn't let me (can't believe that!) so I managed to disable it at the PayPal end. Not sue if it's a mistake on the system or someone has hacked my account but definitely I have had money
    taken from my bank account, via PayPal. Can't believe it!

    The original post was closed, but this is still an issue. RE: Cannot buy Xbox content from money in Microsoft account, or any FREE xbox item without giving credit card info

    My problem is only that I can't make purchases using my paypal account, and I receive the same error of not having a valid form of payment on my account, in relation to the avatars marketplace.
