Can’t purchase or use code

Hi, my child cant play his game, we have tried to purchase the game pass and gold one but the message keeps saying- something happened at our end, waiting a bit might help. This has been happening for more than 15 hours. He has not been banned or anything.
Was playing fine the day before then the nect day he couldnt play because he didnt have a membership so we tried to fix it and we cant purchase, we went and brought a gift card but code wont go through. Does anyone else have this problem? I have looked on
the microsoft account but cant see the problem.

We have tried on a ipad not PC. We have tried restarting it yesterday. Thank you.

I am having the same issue. I checked my account, and i appear to have the same subscription i had yesterday, but now o am being told i must buy Gold (i believe my subscription is better than gold). Anyway, i went to purchase gold anyway and am getting
the error described above.

I removed payment method and added a new one and we have no problem now. Dont sure why i didnt think of doing this. Hope yours works too.

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with being able to use your Xbox subscription benefits.

This is currently a known issue, and in order to get this resolved, we recommend attempting to

remove your payment instrument and then re-adding it to your account. Additionally, I would recommend that you

remove your account and re-add it onto your console as well.

However, if this does not help alleviate this problem, I would implore you to
Contact Xbox Customer Support as they would be able to assist you further on this matter.

This can be done by following these simple steps:

Log in to Xbox.com

Step 1: Scroll down, and select Support at the bottom left-hand side under
Xbox.
Step 2: At the bottom of the page, click on Contact Us
Step 3 : Select Billing & accounts then "See other options"
Step 4 : Select your Issue – Payment & billing
- Select - "Show contact options"
- Select – Request a call from Support
