Can't purchase or play bundle on Killer Instinct for Windows 10

The in game store has an error. When I try to click on the bundle it does nothing. There are variables displayed rather than values. "Nil" and "$Error".

Killer Instinct Purchases on Windows 10

I am logged into Windows on account A. I want to be able to log into the game on account B. This is successful.

I want to make a purchase within the Killer Instinct store. Under the above login situation, I am asked for my password to account A with no option to sign into account B. If I sign in to account A, it then asks for payment information. However, I am concerned
that these purchases will not be properly added to the correct log in.

 

Couple digital Xbox One games suddenly appeared in my ready to install library ?

no none of them escept killer instinct we purchased or redeemed by me, they just appeared in my purchases when I first booted up and updated my xbox one. Killer insticnt is an exception becasue i tried installing it on windows 10. So I not sure if microsoft
gave them away for free or something

 

Yup! Glad to see I'm not the only one having this issue. I've talk and chat with Xbox support and they were not able to fix my problem. What we did:

1- try another account

2- reset the Windows store to default value

3- launching the game without being connected

4- connect to the internet through my cell phone (avoiding the router)

5- deactivating the anti-virus

6- reinstall the game

They should put the bundles straight in the Windows Store instead of having to go through the game to make the purchase.

Lets hope they find the problem quickly!

Same here! At least 3 hours on the phone with suppprt and we did most of what you described above. Funny thing, I was actually able to make the bundle purchase at around 5am on launch day, and play Orchid. Then the game crashed and when I restarted, it no
longer recognized the content and I couldn't purchase it again.

So it worked at one point at least! Gives hope that it'll work again

 

Hey guys! Seems like it's an issue between our computer and Microsoft cloud system. I tried to buy the bundle from my friend's computer (with my account so the bundle is linked to me and not him) and I've succeed! But when I relog to my computer, it's still
not there.

I've check if there was some port forwarding to do, found some ports for the XBOne, so I put configure my router accordingly. When I relogged, I've seen an error message "Unable to synchronize with your data with the cloud".

Hope you guys have an idea what else we can try. In the mean time, back to chat with Xbox support!

Last update as my problem has been fixed. I went in my anti-virus (Kaspersky) to exclude scanning and protecting files from the WindowsApps folder. Signing off and on in the store and reopen the game seems to have fixed my issue.

Try excluding the game folder in your AV, It should be it.

You biscuit! That was it! You kick ***. Yep that was totally it. I have Google Fiber and none of those ports were being forwarded. Once I added them, Booyah! I did not have to exclude the folder you mentioned.

Here are the ports:

Port 80 - UDP

Port 3074 - UDP + TCP

Port 53 - UDP + TCP

Port 80 - TCP

Port 500 - UDP

Port 3544 - UDP

Port 4500 - UDP

I am having a problem trying to purchase a character from killer instinct, I completly disabled antivirus (Windows Defender) and Windows firewall but I still can't purchase the character, any help would be nice
