Can’t purchase or anything or resign in

So i tried to make a purchase on the store and it would allow me to put my password in and then the screen would go gray and it wouldnt load. I then saw a form saying to remove your account from your xbox so i did that and it wont let me sign back in because
i get stuck on the gray screen! What do i do?

Nothing happened i still cannot sign in whenever i try to sign in nothing happens the little pop up for entering my password will pop up then once i put in my password the pop uo just stays gray and wont load at all

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to hopefully get your console to work the way it's supposed to. I can totally understand how this could be pretty confusing to come across.

To better get a grasp on what's happening in this situation, could you tell us if you're having the same problem while trying to sign in on website as well?

I suggest if you haven't already, to try a soft reset of the console.

It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

Hi PrestonKnuth,

Try to power cycle your console by holding the power button for a few seconds until it restarts. Then try to sign in again. Let us know if this doesn't help with the gray screen.

May I know what's the exact error when you're trying to purchase?
