  1. Can't purchase Microsoft Complete on my Xbox One X


    Bought a new Xbox One X yesterday and wanted to add Microsoft Complete, as I already have it in my other X. I went to the MS store on the Xbox itself, as said by Microsoft, and searched for Microsoft Complete. I get to the purchase option, but it is greyed
    out for some reason? With no explanation as to why.

    Tried contacting MS support just now, and they were useless to be honest. They kept asking me what browser I was using to try and purchase it. I explained that I was using the Store in my Xbox. "Yes, but are you using Firefox, or Chrome etc to try and buy
    it"

    "None of them...I'm using the Xbox itself"

    "Yes but which browser"...….sigh. This is the problem when you have call centres overseas who don't understand a thing about the product they are supposed to be providing support for.

    So, how do I contact Microsoft directly? Because boy do Microsoft make it difficult these days, to either find an email or phone number, so that you can speak to an actual living person! Thanks for any help

    Yep, tried them via email, Facebook, Twitter and phone. They all say they either don't know the answer, or say they will get back to me and never do. None of them seem willing to do a bit of digging to get to the bottom of it, which is the annoying part.

    edit: I have sent them copies of the T&C's to prove I should be able to do this. I have sent them all screenshots of the original girl's email, who helped me, where she states in her email that the regular support teams can't do as much as she could, and
    where she categorically states that she has applied Complete to an older Amazon Xbox One. And they still argue the toss that it can't be done...even after seeing a Microsoft employee do it for me, there in black and white :/

    Well, it looks like I am going to have to admit defeat with this particular problem. I used to think Microsoft Customer Support was fantastic, but this past week has proven that it simply isn't the case anymore.

    I am staggered at how many people I have spoken to at Microsoft, either by phone, messenger or email, who are quite simply not paying attention to what I'm asking for and the information I am providing.

    It boils down to this. I bought two Scorpio X's at launch. One from MS and one from Amazon U.K. I contacted support and a lovely girl sold me Microsoft Complete warranty for both of them

    I now have this new X bought from Amazon U.K and am being told you can't but Microsoft Complete for it as it wasn't purchased from Microsoft. Which isn't what is stated in the T&C's for it.

    Worse, the latest person I have been in contact with at support, has once again told me I can't buy Complete because it was bought from Amazon. I provided a copy of the original email from MS when MS Complete was sold to me, and she has replied with "your
    consoles don't fall under the terms of being able to buy MS Complete. I am sorry you have been misinformed.

    Clearly ignoring the fact I specifically told her that I had purchased it twice already, and provided proof that I had! And she has now conveniently closed my case without allowing me to reply and try and once again explain it in words she understands!

    When did support become so ignorant, and not bother to read emails fully? If she had taken a few minutes to read the information I had provided, she would have seen the bigger picture and perhaps been able to contact the previous department that helped
    me out originally.

    And quite why MS make it so difficult to buy an extended warranty is anybody's guess :(

    Really disappointed in the whole customer support experience this time around.

    Sadly I'm in the U.K and Microsoft have deemed us unworthy of having Microsoft stores here. I assume this is why it was sorted out for me via support email originally.

    What is even more disappointing is, I have been trying to get help from the Microsoft Store Twitter page, and while they are happy to joke around with silly posts from people, they have completely ignored my pleas for help. So nice of them!
