Cant "purchase" GwG titles online

As I said in the title for whatever reason the site will not let me download the free xbox 360 title from online, it asks me for my billing information which it has never done, and I just came from downloading the xbox one title and every other one
previously. I should not have to put in my address in for anything, One: because it is free, 2: I do have a billing address on account and 3: I have money in my microsoft account which it isnt letting me put as a alternate option.

I currently dont have access to my xbox 360 online so I cant download it from the console, I don't have any account violations currently, and never did.I haven't missed a game since this started and would not like to break the streak,
so does anybody know how to resolve this?

Oooooo I see Zoo Tycoon. Also being mentioned as a possible 2016 GWG title, seen that mentioned a few times as well lol

I'd love to see that on GWG. Ryse too. I skipped it at console launch and I'm still surprised it hasn't made GWG yet.

Redeeming free games with xbox gold

Do you have a promo gold membership ?

With a promo you can't get the GwG titles.

You also can't use every online feature like ranking matches.

However it could be that you had access even to this matches because there have been some free online access days this weekend.

whenever you 'buy it' from the website it will always ask for a payment method it will not charge it. the only way NOT go get that request is to buy it from the console there is no way around the payment method if you are trying to queue it from the website

But can I switch the payment method to "spend" money on my microsoft account? I dont see any reason for why I need to use my credit information (Which is there BTW) to get something thats free.

Not only that, it seems to only be with xbox 360 GWG titles, I never had this problem downloading the X1 titles online.

If not, this is really being inconvenient ,when it doesn't have to be.

The website has never been updated to work with the currency system for purchasing 360 content. So in order to make a purchase via the website, even free purchases, you have to have a payment method on file.

@Epic Louie its the old version, not garden warfare.

I cant see EA letting a title tahts in the EA vault to be allowed as a GWG unfortunately.

I don't see anything interesting enough to warrant a purchase, so mine will most definately be a GwG title.
