Can’t Purchase Gamepass After Card Cancelled

Step 1: Scroll down and select Support at the bottom left under Xbox.
Step 2: At the bottom of the page, click Contact Us.
Step 3: Select Billing & Account, then "View Other Options"
Step 4: Select your problem
Select - "Show contact options"
Select - Request Support Call

Payment options

If the payment option you use is expired or no longer valid, you’ll need to update it or add a new one.

Payment options include:

• Direct debit (Germany only)
• Mobile operator billing (not available in all regions)

Note You can update payment options for both purchases and subscriptions on your console; however, the steps are slightly different.

Add a payment option:

1. Sign in to your Microsoft account.
2. Press the Xbox button
   to open the guide.
3. Select System > Settings > Account >
   Payment & billing.
4. Select Add a payment option.
5. Choose a payment method to add: Credit/debit card, PayPal, or
   Mobile phone.
6. Follow the steps to enter the information for your payment option.

Update a payment option:

1. Follow steps 1-3 under “Add a payment option.”
2. Scroll right to the payment option you want to update, and then select
   Edit info.
3. Update the payment option details, and then select Save.

Remove a payment option:

1. Follow steps 1-3 under “Add a payment option.”
2. Scroll right to the payment option you want to remove, and then select
   Remove.
3. Select Yes, remove to confirm that you want to delete this payment option.

Since they fixed my issue, now I can’t cancel it.

You know what’s funny though? They kept saying that you must have auto renewal on for your gamepass through a credit card for the auto redeem to work.

I have been trying to cancel my gamepass auto redeem myself and with support for over a month because I want to switch to auto redeem for the gift card as I have 1 years worth of gamepass now. I cancelled the auto renewal and it still went through!!!!! This just goes to show what they say is BS and how terrible support has been.

I still can’t cancel my auto redeem (34 days and counting) They box that’s below says redeem reward and when clicked on, it crashes to the dashboard. I don’t have the option to cancel. I also tried to turn on auto redeem for the gift card and that says an error occurred. (That’s because auto redeem is on gamepass)

No matter what I try, nothing works and support has been abysmal unfortunately.
