    Can't purchase content that isn't free.


    So, I wanted to buy DLC for a game with some money I had in my parents Paypal account. I added the Paypal account to the console and went to buy the DLC but when I tried, it said that purchasing content was disabled on this account and to change it, follow
    these steps. So I go to the account settings (This is all on the Xbox One) and find the Buy and Download setting on the console, It says "Free Content only". I go to change it but I can't because This gamertag is the child account of the "Family" In the family
    section of the settings, I can't add a family member but there is another gamertag which is the parent account on the console. I can't sign into it though so I can't change the settings. I tried online with the microsoft family but according to that, I am
    the only member of the family and an adult member. The accounts (Parent and Child Gamertag) Were both transferred from my old 360 (Which I have now sold) And is on this pre-owned Xbox One. My parent is concerned as to how the settings could have changed when
    transferring the account and thinks it's because of the pre-owned console. Can anybody help here? I don't want to call the helpline because that costs 35p per minute..

    Please make xbox 360 region free.

    XBOX ONE is released and its region free.This is a great step Microsoft.Now do us one more favor that please also make xbox 360 region free,I can't purchase any game from Xbox games store,everytime it gives me error "This item isn't available from your current
    location".I have a US account but i live in another country where XBOX LIVE is not available.If you make XBOX 360 region free i can easily download or purchase any content from xbox games store.Please Microsoft.Please.

    Wish it could happen, and it shouldn't be bannable since the content isn't available to purchase.

    Really annoyed I can't get this dlc

    Sorry to hear it. Only the parental account would be able to sign in and make changes on your gamertag if it is underage for your region. If you don't know the parental account your parent can try contacting phone support for further assistance. If you

    Got an update, By making emails and messing around with the microsoft families stuff, This account is now the 'Child' In a family to a new profile. I can't however get this profile to be listed as a child on the console family.

    DLC MISSING!!!

    If the content isn't in your download history then it means that it wasn't purchased with this account. You can only re-download content from the gamertag that purchased the content.

    Also, if you have the Black Ops 2 Season pass you'd download the content from the in-game store on Black Ops 2, it would be listed as Free.

    This isn't a surprise really. I am sure that a section of the customer base are burnt from buying content on the 360 that they couldn't bring with them to the XO. As such, the prices would almost have to be free for me to purchase any digital content this
    time around.
