    Hi Can't purchase Call of Duty: World at War on Xbox store for the Xbox One :)

    For a couple days now I've attempted to purchase World at War from the Xbox store to play on my Xbox one for backwards compatibility. However, when I have attempted to do this, at the end of the process a quick 1-second message comes up on my screen saying
    something like "Sorry, this process cannot be completed, try again later" and this has been happening for a few days now every time I've tried.

    Just wondering if anyone could shed some light on the situation because I haven't found a solution for this.

    Sorry, Call of Duty Modern Warfare isn't compatible yet on the Xbox One. It maybe in the future though. The following Call of Duty titles are supported:

    I am having the same problem with black ops backwards compatible. Tried 2 payment methods on the Xbox and Xbox.com

    Hello!

    Sometimes one other thing can cause the problem is that, if you are under 18 (or 21) years old, you can not purchase the backward compatible games from the Xbox One console and from the Website and it don't matter if your account is an "adult" account or
    not, but if you have access to an Xbox 360 you should be able to purchase the games you want from there.

    If not your other option is to buy the game for like $5 at a game stop or other used game store and just load it through the disc.

    You can not purchase backwards compatible titles on the Xbox One store without having a credit or debit card attached to the account you're buying the game with whether it's free or costs money.

    Can't buy backwards compatibility games on Xbox One

    This occurs for me, and many other users it seems, when purchasing Xbox 360 content from the Xbox One store. There doesn't seem to be a reliable fix for this issue. Instead, I'd suggest purchasing the game on the website, then download it on your Xbox One
    from the Ready to Install section of My Games and Apps. You can purchase Call of Duty: World of War from here:

    marketplace.xbox.com/.../66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8024156081c     Make sure that you are signed in with the Microsoft Account you have associated with you Xbox One.
