    Can't purchase anything using account balance money.


    I'm trying to buy fibbage from the marketplace and it's not coming up with the option to use my account balance money. I have $8 on it and it costs $7, I have tried seeing if it worked with any other content on the game store and it's still not showing up.

    Please help

    Can't use account balance to purchase games.

    Since I switched from Microsoft points to money, I can't use my account balance to purchase anything.

    I'm stuck with credit card infos and I got 22$ in my MSFT account expiring in less than a week and I can't spend them on xbox live on the console or the website.

    How can I make account balance a payment option?

    Redeeming Gift Card Codes?

    When you redeem a gift code it adds money to your Microsoft account balance. When you make a purchase on the Xbox store it will give you the option of using a credit card/Paypal or using your account balance.

    The system always asks for an alternate method of paying just in case the amount you have in currency is not enough due to taxes.

    However, I would recommend getting the Jackbox Party Pack that is available now for $24.99 (Can). It includes Fibbage and several other games in one handy dandy little package for you.

    Currency is always chosen first so there is no need to select it. As for taxes, it depends on what you are charged where you live. Our tax here is 13% which adds $0.91 to the total price.

    I have the same problem... Somewhat... I added 40 € to my account and bought the Destiny DLC, so with the money I have left I thought I'd buy an Avatar item. Now I know they're not that popular anymore but when I try to purchase it, it keeps asking for my
    credit card (which I don't have) It's weird since I could buy the DLC with prepaid money... And it can't be about the tax since the item is € 2,00 and I've got € 5,00 left... After doing some reading people said I should use the old 360 to buy it there on
    the console, but it didn't show my money and also kept asking for a credit card.

    Yeah that's the same problem I'm having, it used to come up with the option to use money on my account but now for some annoying reason, its not even coming up, it says something like "Click to add a payment option" with a plus sign in a circle.

    Skip that last post... Just checked again and I could pay as well with prepaid money... Just need to close and re-open it often I guess...
