    Can't purchase a backward compatible game on my Xbox One


    Hello, I'm attempting to purchase and download the original Star Wars battlefront II on my Xbox One. However, I keep getting the error message of "Your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com. Please complete this transaction on your
    Xbox." Well, I just so happen to be on my Xbox so what is the solution to this problem? I suppose I should add that my account is currently stuck as a teen account (Thanks mom.) so could that be a part of it?

    Xbox One Marketplace missing categories?

    My Xbox One Marketplace is missing a few categories, such as the Backwards Compatible section. It just says New Releases, Coming Soon, Top Rated, And Reccomended for you. My Xbox One is 100% updated but this is the only problem it has. I'm not sure if this
    Is a side-effect but I also can't purchase Backwards Compatible games on XB1 as it just says "Try buying on Xbox.com or Xbox 360"

    Can't Buy Xbox 360 BackWard Compatible Games on my Xbox One

    I am unable to purchase Xbox 360 BackWard Compatible Games on my Xbox One or anything related to Xbox 360. Even stuff for my Avatar can't be bought on my GamerTag, since stuff for the Avatar is connected to the Xbox 360.

    Yeah I did check it. Says games are good so still unsure about this issue.

    That could very well be the issue. Have the parent account log in to Sign in to your Microsoft account and change your purchasing settings.

    Please be aware though that, as Jav0r mentioned there is also a purchase and download issue going on.

    Please be aware though that, as Jav0r mentioned there is also a purchase and download issue going on.

    I've gotten this error message before and I fixed it somehow, sadly I don't remember how. I can purchase other games just not this one and a few others don't work as well. Your solution sadly did not help Can't purchase a backward compatible game on my Xbox One :(

    Backwards comparability

    If the Xbox 360 games you purchased are backwards compatible on Xbox One you will be able to play them.

    Hi Doug! When you sign in to your new Xbox One S with the same Xbox Live account, there will be a "Ready to Install" section listing all games that you are able to install onto that Xbox. If your old games (Games with Gold or purchased) are backwards compatible,

    If it's not backwards compatible (and this game isn't) then no, it won't work. You can view the backwards compatibility list
    here. If a game is not on that list, you can't play it on an Xbox One.

    The One store/website have never been updated to work with the currency system for backwards compatible content. The only way to purchase backwards compatible games with the funds on your account is through a 360 console.
