    Hi all,

    I can no longer purchase things through the 360 Marketplace after a gamertag change. Is there a way to fix my account? This is what I see when trying to purchase (and there are payment options associated with the account):

    If I click "Change Payment Options" I get an error:

    after a Gamertag change you have to download your profil to make it work with the 360 !

    The store on the Xbox 360 will be shutting down in July 2024. You won't be able to make purchases on a 360 after that date. - Xbox 360 store will close July 2024

    If after the 360 marketplace shuts down and you want to change your gamertag, you can do so either on an Xbox One, or through the website. Change Xbox live gamertag

    Anything purchased from the 360 marketplace prior to its shutdown remains yours as you purchased it.

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you want to purchase DLCs for Civilization Revolution. The reason why you can't proceed with the purchase is because the Xbox 360 marketplace has been retired last July 29, 2024. Any content distributed via the Xbox 360 Store is no longer available for purchase. This includes games, trials, add-ons, avatar items, apps, gamerpics, game trailers, and videos. This also includes purchases like gamertag changes on Xbox 360, Xbox subscriptions on Xbox 360, in-game purchases, and video content via the Microsoft Movies & TV app.

    You will no longer be able to purchase Xbox 360 games, but you will still be able to play the catalog of games you own.

    If you're trying to share a game that was downloaded from the Xbox marketplace, then yes, that could be seen as marketplace theft and is not allowed. Content purchased from the marketplace is tied to the gamertag that purchased it.
