Can't program my Xbox One to control my tv

You have to check if your TV supports CEC and is active, if your TV firmware is up to date and also if you are using the correct HDMI port, not all HDMI ports support CEC.

If all this information agrees, clear the console cache and try the configuration again.

To clear the cache

Press and hold the console's power button until the console turns off, remove the power cord and HDMI cable for a few minutes, then turn on the console and try again.

damn I don't have any issues with any of my controllers working other things except my x1. I had it programmed to my tv and even tho I have since removed the feature it still turns my tv on/off when it powers on/off. I can't get it to reset and no to mention
that it sometimes removes the programming from my current remotes for said TV. There is no faq online or anything that can fix it.

I do not want to have to factory reset my xbox =/

I did the same thing, Harmony is programmed for all the TV components when the Xbox One Activity is chosen. The only downside to this is that we can't control Netflix this way unless we create a second Activity for Xbox One(Netflix) with those components.
Not really that big of an issue since the Kinect voice commands work just fine with Netflix.

On only get the option to enter remote code for my TV and my audio receiver. I don't get an option to enter a remote code for cable box.the HW 150 is plugged into the Xbox One, and the Xbox one plugs into my receiver the receiver goes out to the TV. picture
works fine I just can't control the TV with Xbox voice command.

Since posting this thread I have discovered the tv remote settings on my xbox one and have removed my Sony Bravia from it. I can't set up my Logik tv because the xbox one can't find it during the set up quite, unfortunately.

For those with similar problems and are wondering where the tv remote set up is:

Settings>Display & Sound > Volume > Set up TV/AV control.
