Can't process the update - 40A3-416B-1680-0700-C000-000E

So update failed and not letting me connect to XBL haven't found anyone with this issue other then on guy who just shut his console off and it fixed.

I tried clearing system cache and it's not only my Xbox it's my sisters a as well. Please help me here anyone.

Cant process the update. If the problem persists, go to www.xbox.com/ support Status code: 4099 - 40A3 - 1380 - 0700 - C000 - 000E How to solve this?

 

I'm getting the same status code

4099 - 40A3 - 1380 - 0700 - C000 - 000E Failed to process the update

Searched google for a long time, since microsofts solutions dont work.

I can't help, just had my son's 360 do exactly the same thing, I can only assume it's something they have done to the update. If I find a fix or a work around I will update here.

 

Just noticed that my son's error isn't the same as yours, his is something to do with the connection. Carried out the standard network test procedure and everything is fine, not sure what to do as he can't even sign in etc.

 

I am hoping this will help. I contacted Microsoft today and thankfully they helped me solve my problem. The first help they gave was to go to system, storage then select hard drive, press left bumper, right bumper, then X, do this twice and then yes to
update. This deletes the old update and tries to replace it with the new update. In my situation this didn't work but then next step was very useful. You first need a flash drive/memory stick that has got FAT32 file system (just in case you don't how to
find out this info) go into windows explorer and right click on the memory stick and go to properties you can then view the system type i.e. NTFS, FAT32.

Once sorted go to the Xbox Support website then select Xbox360 - System - System Update then select How To Get A New Xbox 360 Update last option to pick is Copy To A USB Flash Drive.

Save the file to your laptop/PC, once completed unzip the file and copy the folder to the flash drive how it was unzipped, plug the flash drive into the Xbox and switch it off. Once the 360 starts back up it looks at the flash drive and installs the new
update. Once completed you can remove the flash drive and carry on as usual.

I am hoping that one of these solutions will help you to get connected to Xbox Live again.

 

My son's Xbox is doing the same thing... error codes means my console is banned but console checks says its NOT...... IMA bout 2 gamma crush this thing man, help me out some1

Appreciate if you could post up the make and model of your modem and router and state whether you connect wireless, or wired with your console.

If you haven't tried already, please read:
Issues downloading and installing system update. And work your way trough step 1-5 and let us know how that goes.

FYI, error code C000-000E means that the console is failing due to a genuine hardware error. The only resolution is to
submit an online repair request.

Post back and let us know how that goes and we'll work from there.

 

Same here, son's got a slightly different error, but does end with C000-000E. genuine hardware error ?

First time he's had xbox live and literally plays the xbox a couple of times a week, moderated by myself... the things basically new.

So now its back to the manufacturer etc ? all that hassle ?

I'll tell you what, instead, why not make a proper genuine product that doesn't just die inside the warranty limit...in fact why not make a product, that crazy as it may sound... lasts even longer than the warranty? something quality ? Oh no sorry not enough
profit in that is there?

That's the last console he's ever getting, the last one died well inside the warranty and had to wait 4 months to get it replaced, 4 weeks after ? dead again.

I have the same problem on startup the console remains stuck on the system update. XBO Support is not at all helpful on providing a fix. I'm so done with xbox crappy hardware i'm happy to ditch the device. So microsoft if you're listening. F the xbox and
F your support policy Steam FTW...
