Can't Play

    Purchased "V for Vendetta" (its currently on sale!) Got the confirmation email from the microsoft store.

    Tried to play and 3 times got the "Can't Play" message stating...

    "Can't play because we can't check usage rights. Make sure your devices's clock and time zone are set correctly, then try again.

    To get the typical stuff out of the way that other people ask...

    I'm using an xbox one x.

    Yes, I am signed in.

    I am trying to stream.

    Yes the date and time zones are correct.

    Performed "full shutdown"... waited a minute... started console back up.

    Attempted playing other movies. No Concerns or issues.

    Internet connection is running well. (Just downloaded the cyberpunk 16gb update real quickly.)

    Restarted console after cyberpunk update was complete

    Yes checked clock once again. Date and time zones correct.

    Attempted to play movie again. Same error. Does anybody know what is ACTUALLY going on or have a fix? Because the fix I'm leaning towards is switching to AMAZON if this continues.

    Are you talking about Ghost Recon: Wildlands Free Trial?? If so I would recommend a

    Power Cycle
    to start off with. If the issue persists you should try to Uninstall and Reinstall the game and try it again.

    It's because Xbox is pretty much down. I have been having these same issues since last night. I can't play any games at all! Sometimes I can't even sign in.

    The following will help you uninstall and reinstall the Movies & TV app. Your movie collection will not be removed by taking these steps.

    1. To return to the Home screen, press the Xbox button
       on your controller to open the guide, and then select Home.
    2. Select My games & apps.
    3. Select Apps, and then highlight the Movies & TV tile.
    4. Press the Menu button  on your controller, and then select
      Uninstall.
    5. On the confirmation screen, select Uninstall all.
    6. Restart your console: Press and hold the Xbox button
       in the center of your Xbox One controller to open the Power Center. Select
      Restart console > Restart.
    7. Once your console has restarted, scroll right to the Store area, and then select
      Movies & TV.
    8. Select My movies & TV.
    9. Select Install to download and install the Movies & TV app.
